The Every Lesson Outstanding Programme has been written by a collaborative of seven North East Teaching Schools. 


Comprising four half-days the programme aims to challenge teachers to develop their knowledge, understanding and everyday practice so that they consistently and confidently deliver lessons of the very highest quality . The programme will enable participants to
·         Know the key concepts underpinning outstanding practice
·         Understand the impact of these concepts in developing  excellent learning
·         Deliver these concepts through consistent practice
·         Self-assess and audit their own teaching through learning activities, lesson    observations, facilitated  de-briefs and follow up mentoring

With so many recent changes to the educational landscape and academisation on the horizon we aim to keep our teachers and staff as up-to-date  as possible through effective networks, CPD and regular collaboration between our schools. Teaching Schools and system leaders have been given responsibility to play a significant and wider role in school improvement.
